The Role – Employment Solicitor
You’ll get to manage a varied caseload as part of our small and friendly team, advising both employers and employees on a range of employment law matters including:
– Drafting and negotiating employment contracts and policies
– Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
– Representing clients in Employment Tribunals.
– Handling TUPE transfers and redundancy consultations.
– Providing guidance on workplace disputes.
– Advising on Settlement Agreements
– Delivering HR and employment law training to clients.
Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for someone who can slot seamlessly into our close-knit team and manage their own caseload independently whilst collaborating with our team of solicitors and HR professionals. You’ll be expected to:
– Provide practical advice tailored to client needs.
– Build and maintain strong internal and client relationships.
– Stay up to date with changes in employment law.
– Get involved in business development activities.
About You
You’ll need to be a Qualified Solicitor who is:
– Able to manage a varied caseload.
– Proactive at problem-solving.
– Good with attention to detail.
– Excellent at client care.
– Good sense of humour!
– A strong and confident communicator.
– Knowledgeable in the technical aspects of employment law.
