We won Best Employment Law Firm West Midlands!

We’re super happy to say that we’ve won another award! Our second one in 12 months!

It was a lovely surprise to find out we’d been named Best Employment Law Firm – West Midlands in the SME News Legal Awards 2022.

But how much do you know about us and how we can support you as a business or an individual?

The Neate & Pugh story

Emma and I (Ann-Marie) set up our own law firm after working together in a large international law firm. We already knew that we made a great team, so this seemed like the perfect next step.

By combining our expertise and personalities, we knew we could provide a service that covered the full spectrum of employment law, delivered in a more friendly and straightforward way. We’ve never looked back!

Employment Law plus HR consultancy

As we began our business journey it became clear there was a lot of crossover between employment law and HR as many of our clients needed help in both areas. This is why we decided to add specialist HR consultancy support to our practice, and the feedback from our clients is that they’re really seeing the added value and benefits of that.

What makes us different?

We’re a small team dedicated to offering a more personal level of service to clients. We like to get to know our clients’ businesses and build supportive long-term relationships. Across the team, we also have years of commercial experience behind us, so collectively we can offer an unrivalled level of expertise.

When it comes to employment law and HR consultancy, our approach is to simplify the complexities of law, cutting out the jargon and giving advice that is straightforward and easy to understand.

We take time to learn about your business, listen to your concerns, ask the right questions, and will always give pragmatic advice that’s tailored to your exact situation.

What kind of businesses do we help?

We work with businesses across the private, public and third sector, everything from small start-ups right through to SME’s and larger corporate companies. Regardless of the size and scale of a business we can offer flexible support, either on a project basis, or a more complete employment solution where there is little or no internal HR in place.

What do we do for individuals?

We know it can be challenging to fully understand your workplace rights and so our service to individuals is focused on making things as simple and stress free as possible. Our aim is to help you fully understand your situation and to guide you towards the most appropriate solution.

Put simply, we’re here to help you manage your employment relationships as effectively as possible, whether you are a business or an individual. So, if you’d like advice and some fresh thinking on your current employment law or HR challenges, then we would love to help!
